The APSRM4 Remote Control Module lets you monitor and control your PowerVerter® inverter (PV-Series) or inverter/charger (RV-, APS- and EMS-Series) from up to 50 feet away. Ideal for automotive, remote site, industrial, commercial and residential applications, the APSRM4 mounts easily in a variety of locations and configurations, including below a dashboard, so you can control your inverter or inverter/charger from the comfort of your vehicle.Monitor battery charge level and the connected inverter's mode at a glance via the front-panel LEDs. The compact, heavy-duty all-metal housing also includes a convenient switch that lets you toggle between inverter and charger modes. A master override port enables automatic shutdown under various conditions, such as when the vehicle's ignition is on or off, the battery is disconnected or water is encroaching.Built-in mounting slots and a 50-foot (15.2 meters) cable provide plenty of flexibility in mounting and operating the APSRM4. You can even daisy-chain multiple units to connect to a single inverter or inverter/charger. A face plate is included for front-panel mounting in an RV, boat or other vehicle.
The APSSWTEMP Remote Battery Temperature Sensor monitors your inverter/charger’s battery system to help you prevent overcharging and protect and prolong the life of your battery. By sending precise temperature information to the inverter/charger, the APSSWTEMP lets you know when the battery is getting too hot, requiring an adjustment to the charge float voltage level (some inverter/chargers will adjust automatically when the temperature reaches a preset protection point).Just connect the 3-meter sensor cable to the inverter/charger’s RJ11 battery temperature sensor port. Use the included adhesive to place the thermal sensor in the center of the battery. Make sure nothing, including the adhesive, is between the sensor and the battery. To prevent false readings due to ambient temperatures, place the sensor between batteries if possible and away from extreme heat or cold.The APSSWTEMP is compatible with APS1012SW, APS2012SW, APSX1012SW, APSX2012SW and APSX4048SW sine wave inverter/chargers.
